In today’s world, we face a constant barrage of threats. Soft targets such as airport terminals, transportation hubs, and public arenas are particularly vulnerable. Identifying those individuals who pose a grave threat to society before they have had a chance to act on their aggression can be the difference between life and death. Cities are addressing these potential threats by employing increasingly sophisticated crowd surveillance protocols to identify perpetrators before they have had a chance to strike. Our Mass Automatic Profiling system or MAP harnesses Artificial Intelligence in real time to evaluate an individual in a crowd, collect all the data and access the situation accordingly.

Advanced Perimeter Security leverages its ergonomics through APS MAP to single out those individuals who require additional security screenings. It accomplishes this by continually scanning the crowd using the latest facial recognition technology, IMSI catchers, and license plate recognition databases. These datapoints flow instantly and seamlessly through our open source intelligence software and government database to create a profile of each individual’s threat level from green (low risk) to yellow (medium risk) to red (high risk). This threat assessment differentiation allows security to focus its assets where they are needed most. Array Sensors can further determine the type of additional attention required and cue security on which protocols to follow.

APS MAP is a collaboration between METIS Ltd., an Israeli innovator of augmented investigative analytics, and Advanced Perimeter Security, Inc., a New York based security company. Together METIS and APS have created a unique solution to monitor individuals in crowded public venues. The AI technology harvests prodigious quantities of video analyses and overlays them with cellular and open source information to create actionable threat assessment snapshots in real time. No city can afford to be without this technology.
